Videos circulating on social media show Leny Yoro in a protective boot with his teammate after a training session.
The young French defender signed for €62m from Lille sustained an injury during their 2-1 loss to Arsenal.
The pre-season clash saw Yoro and also striker Rasmus Hojlund limp off before halftime, rekindling troubling memories from last season, which saw the Red Devils suffer 45 injury cases in the Premier League alone.
This incident comes after Ten Hag’s presser before the game, where the Dutch manager pointed to the hiring of head physiotherapist Jordan Reece and club doctor Gary O’Driscol both from Arsenal as reported by Sportsbuddy.
The 18-year-old, who completed a £52 million move to United earlier this month, collapsed and needed extensive treatment before being carted off the field.
Erik ten Hag’s Comments
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag addressed the situation with MUTV: ”We have to wait 24 hours more and then hopefully more will be known We were very cautious especially with Leny sad that he had to be substituted but let’s look at the positive side. ”

Player and Team Reaction
Yoro’s injury drew significant concern, with Jonny Evans expressing his thoughts post-game.
“Of course, nobody wants any injuries, especially not in pre-season because you’re not only trying to avoid them getting injured but also trying to get into shape, so let’s hope they aren’t too severe, but I guess we’ll know probably tomorrow. ”
Yoro’s status will be updated in the next few days as players and supporters are optimistic that the young defender will be able to recover soon.
