Chelsea’s much anticipated deal for Atletico Madrid young star striker Samu Omorodion proves to be a no go affair.
Based on the media coverage, the Blues have been reported to have agreed on the £34. 5 million in signing the 20-year-old striker, problems in the final agreements have resulted in the cancellation of the transfer.

Deal Collapse After Medicals
The young Spanish striker had been to London for his medicals and was poised to sign a seven-year contract with Chelsea with the option of making it eight years.
However, as per the exclusive information from El Chiringuito as quoted by Sportsbuddy, the transfer encountered a major problem with regards to the final contract negotiations.
This development has upset what looked like a straightforward process of completing transfers as the club and the player have been caught off guard.
What Actually Happened and Chelsea’s Next Move

The main problem as seen by a professional reporter, Marcos Benito from El Chiringuito is that Chelsea wanted to buy only 50% in Omorodion’s contract.
This particular offer was deemed insensitive and disrespectful by Omorodion, and this caused the dismissal of the proposed deal.
Angered by the proposal, the young striker presumed it demeans him and his potential earning, leading to the failure of the negotiations.

Following the collapse of the Omorodion deal, Chelsea has wasted no time to move for another Atlético Madrid player, Joao Felix.
According to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, talks are ongoing for the loan return of Felix to Chelsea.
Felix’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is already in London as the negotiations are now underway after the failure of Omorodion’s deal.
