A supercomputer has made a final prediction of the final 2024–2025 Premier League table as the new season begins, according to The Sun.
Manchester City are aiming to win the title for a record fifth consecutive time, with Arsenal the favourite to challenge their dominance.

On the opposite side of the standings, Ipswich make a comeback following consecutive promotions, while Leicester and Southampton return to the top flight after one year’s absence.
Supercomputer’s Premier League prediction

An AI-driven Opta supercomputer has run 10,000 simulations of the season to determine each team’s final position, and has predicted that all newly promoted sides will end their campaigns in the drop zone.
Liverpool, under newly-appointed manager Arne Slot, have been tipped to finish third, behind Manchester City and Arsenal, who were placed first and second, respectively.
Despite recent struggles, the system predicted Chelsea to finish in the top four with a 19.5 percentage, two more than Newcastle, who were placed sixth in the prediction, and Tottenham were projected to finish fifth.
Meanwhile, Manchester United were given a mere 12.9% chance of making it into the Champions League, with a prediction of a sixth-place finish—an awful outlook, considering how active the Red Devils have been in the transfer market this summer.
Erik Ten Hag’s side have recruited players in crucial positions with the signings of Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro for a combined fee of over €100 million.

The 20-time league champions are also close to completing the signings of Bayern Munich duo Matthijs De Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui, in a double deal totaling nearly £60 million.
This is in addition to bringing in fresh personnel to the coaching crew, one of which includes club legend Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
With so much involvement in the transfer market, finishing sixth will be deemed a disappointment, and the club and it’s fans will be hoping to finish way above Opta’s prediction.
