Victor Osimhen’s shock move to Galatasaray is already creating a buzz in the football world, with Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan one of the latest to react to the sensational transfer.
Recall Sports Buddy reported that Osimhen was close to joining the Turkish Giants after failing to seal a deadline day move to either Al Ahli or Chelsea.
With the Turkish transfer window still open, Cim-Bom took advantage of the situation by requesting the services of the already embattled player, who had been removed from Napoli’s squad.
As reported by Sports Buddy, the loan deal is a dry one, meaning Galatasaray will cover €9-10 million of Victor Osimhen’s salary for the year.
A post shared by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X featured a screenshot of Gundogan’s reaction to the move.
Fabrizio had announced the deal on his Instagram page when the recently returned Manchester City midfielder left a comment, which read,

Gundogan, a German international of Turkish descent, recently returned to Manchester City, after a one-year spell at Barcelona.
The 33-year-old maestro had previously expressed his interest in playing in the Turkish Super Lig.
While it’s unlikely to happen this season, as he recently signed a one-year contract with Manchester City, a move to Turkey is expected in his future.
