The list of players that each team is allowed to have in the Premier League for the 2023-2024 season has been provided, and Chelsea have named seven players who are eligible to feature for the Nigerian national teams.
Some of them include Tosin Adarabioyo, a summer signing from Fulham, and one of the eight players in the 22-man senior team that are home-grown.

Nigerian Players in Chelsea’s U21 Squad
While Carney Chukwuemeka is in the Chelsea first team squad, the young 20-year-old was omitted from this list as he falls under the U21 category.
He is accompanied by other Nigerian prospects in the U21 team, such as Landon Emenalo, who is the son of former Super Eagles left back Michael Emenalo, Somto Boniface, Richard Olise, Tayo Subuloye, and Tyrique George.
In a previous report from Sportsbuddy, Chelsea’s official website have confirmed that the club signed the son of Michael Emenalo.

These players have trained with the London club’s first team, but none of them has been part of the matchday squad; however, Adarabioyo has featured before.
Tosin Adarabioyo’s First Season at Chelsea
Tosin Adarabioyo is yet to be featured in a league match for the Blues since Enzo Maresca assumed the role of the manager of the Chelsea team despite being included in the matchday squad in the initial three Premier League fixtures.

However, Tyrique George joined the senior team during the 2023-2024 season under the then-manager Mauricio Pochettino and was unable to play in the team when they faced Everton, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Chukwuemeka, despite attempts to move away from the London club before the transfer window closed, remains part of the team and has made 37 Premier League appearances so far, 23 of which came in Chelsea colours.
