Most of the time, Boniface celebrates by springing to the corner flag and punching the air. But this time, he removed the shorts and started dancing, and in the process of doing so, he made a funny face to the people around.
This caused many people to think that he was provoking Hoffenheim’s fans.
Unusual Celebration Explained
In response, Boniface sought to defend his conduct after the match, indicating that the celebration was in honour of a nude Nigerian TIK TOK influencer he had promised to do so.

“I did not want to endanger anyone; I did it to our fans. It is a TikTok trend that was initiated by a popular influencer in Nigeria. I told him that I would do it, but I have not done it since I scored,” Boniface explained.
