Amir Rrahmani of Napoli has discussed the difference between playing with Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku after their dominant 4-0 win against Cagliari.

Interestingly, the match was Napoli’s third successive victory, which put them at the pinnacle of Serie A for a few hours with nine points.

Osimhen recently left Napoli on loan to Galatasaray, after several transfer interests from PSG, Chelsea, and Al Ahli.

Now, with the absence of Osimhen, Romelu Lukaku has been the team’s leading striker under new manager Antonio Conte.

Speaking to Sky Sports Italia via Tuttomercatoweb, Rrahmani expressed differences in their playing style by commenting that “before we used to have Osimhen, who does not touch the ball much but searches for space. With Lukaku, we can play from behind; he is strong and helps us win second balls and complete the actions.”

Lukaku is stronger, has the ability to hold off the ball when under pressure more, and gives Napoli better control during build-up play.

In a previous report from Sportsbuddy, former Ballon d’Or winner Fabio Cannavaro revealed the better striker between Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku.
