The 18-year-old center back has been scouted by several clubs in Europe who wish to lure him away from Brazil under the noses of one another.
Reis is highly-rated for his defensive skills since his days with the Palmeiras youth team. In October 2023, he was named by English newspaper The Guardian as one of the best players born in 2006 worldwide.
He was also ranked third by The CIES Football Observatory in their best center backs under the age of 20 around the world.

Vitor Reis is being closely monitored by a lot of top clubs in Europe and despite having played just 14 games at senior level, he may be left with a big decision to make on his future very soon.
Having watched former teammate Endrick move to Real Madrid in the summer and the imminent arrival of Estevao Willian at Chelsea, he will know his time has also come to make the big call.
The youngster has a release clause of €100 million at Palmeiras, who has not named their selling price, although, no formal bid has been received for Reis.
Liverpool and Barcelona are also believed to be interested in the teenager.
