The 18-year-old center back has been scouted by several clubs in Europe who wish to lure him away from Brazil under the noses of one another.
Reis is highly-rated for his defensive skills since his days with the Palmeiras youth team. In October 2023, he was named by English newspaper The Guardian as one of the best players born in 2006 worldwide.

He was also ranked third by The CIES Football Observatory in their best center backs under the age of 20 around the world.
