Lobi Stars Appoints AFCON 1994 Winner as New Head Coach

Lobi Stars has announced the appointment of former Super Eagles player and assistant coach Daniel Amokachi as their new head coach, succeeding Eugene Agagbe, who departed the club with immediate effect.

Agagbe has-been the head coach at the NPFL club since first starting as the interim manager in March 2022, following the departure of Eddy Dombraye. The club announced that he has signed another two year contract back in August.

The decision to part companies with Agagbe came as a result of their underwhelming start to the season, which saw them without a win in their first four games before beating Shooting Stars on 1-0 on Saturday.
