Former Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC star Ahmad Ghali has responded to speculation linking him with moves to Coventry City, Ipswich Town, and Serie A side AC Monza.
According to a previous report from Sports Buddy, the Slovan Liberec midfielder has drawn interest from Frank Lampard’s Coventry City, Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich Town, and Italian club AC Monza, as they vie for the 24-year-old’s signature.
Ghali, who has registered two goals and four assists in the Czech First Division this season, remains focused on his current club despite the transfer buzz.
Speaking exclusively to Soccernet.ng, the ex-Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC star expressed gratitude for the interest but reaffirmed his commitment to Slovan Liberec.
Dreams of Europe’s Elite Leagues
Acknowledging the attention he’s garnered, Ghali revealed his long-term aspiration to play in Europe’s top five leagues: Spain, England, Italy, Germany, or France.
“There are a lot of interested clubs in the Czech league and outside,” Ghali said. “I’d like to be in the top five leagues in the world, like Spain, England, Italy, Germany, and France.”
Reflecting on his career path, Ghali credited his time at AS Trencin, where he began his European journey, as instrumental in his development.
“It was a really good experience, and I learned a lot as both a player and a person,” he shared. “I spoke with Kingsley Madu, and he gave me lots of advice.”

As interest from top clubs grows, Ghali remains determined to maintain his excellent form at Slovan Liberec while pursuing his dream of joining Europe’s elite leagues.
