Super Eagles forward Tolu Arokodare has confessed he remains in the dark over his future at Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk, despite persistent links to clubs in the Premier League and Bundesliga.

The 24-year-old striker, who joined Genk in January 2023, has been used as a substitute in all three of the club’s opening matches this season. He came off the bench to score in Genk’s 2-1 defeat to Standard Liège on Sunday night, but uncertainty still surrounds his next career move.
Speaking to Belgian outlet “Voetbalkrant”, Arokodare revealed that no formal offer has been made, despite weeks of rumours. “It’s very frustrating, not knowing what’s going on.
I’m trying to stay calm, even though my head is racing. I have friends and loved ones who keep me mentally stable,” he said.
Rumours but No Decisions
While media reports continue to link him with high-profile transfers, Arokodare insists he is as uninformed as the fans. “I can’t say anything about it, I don’t know anything about it myself. You hear rumours, I hear rumours, but have you heard anything concrete yet? I don’t know if I’ll leave this season or next,” he added.
Genk are yet to make a final decision, and with the summer transfer window still open, there remains a possibility for developments. However, the lack of confirmed interest has left both the player and the club in a holding pattern.
