Super Falcons of Nigeria captain Rasheedat Ajibade has completed a high-profile move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain Féminines, signing a contract that will keep her at the club until June 2027.
The 24-year-old forward joins PSG after an impressive spell with Atlético Madrid Femenino, where she established herself as one of the most dangerous attackers in the Spanish league.
A Warm Parisian Welcome

PSG confirmed Ajibade’s arrival through their official channels, unveiling her in a welcome video alongside fellow Super Falcons star Jennifer Echegini, who also plays for the French side.
“Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the arrival of Nigerian striker Rasheedat Ajibade, who has signed until 30th June 2027,” the club stated.
Speaking after signing, Ajibade expressed her excitement:
- “I’m deeply honoured to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, a top-drawer club in Europe. This is a major step for me, and I’m committed to giving my all to help PSG win titles and to inspire young footballers, whether in Nigeria or elsewhere.”
A Proven Winner

Ajibade arrives in Paris after recently captaining the Super Falcons to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title, where she was named the tournament’s best player.
She also played a key role in securing qualification for the upcoming Women’s World Cup, further cementing her reputation as one of Africa’s most influential footballers.
With her move to France, Ajibade shuts down speculation of a possible switch to the American league, instead choosing to continue her development in Europe at a club consistently competing for domestic and continental honours.
Her arrival is expected to boost PSG’s attack as they challenge for the French Division 1 Féminine and the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
