Turkish champions “Galatasaray” are close to completing the signing of Nigerian midfielder “Raphael Onyedika” from Club Brugge.

The 24-year-old has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Istanbul giants and is eager to link up with fellow Super Eagles star “Victor Osimhen”, who joined the club permanently from Napoli earlier this summer.

Osimhen, who netted 37 goals and seven assists last season, played a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s domestic double triumph and clinched the league’s golden boot. His success has already inspired another Nigerian international to choose RAMS Park as his next destination.
Transfer Details and Club Brugge’s Demand
According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Galatasaray failed in their attempt to land Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma and quickly turned their attention to Onyedika. Club Brugge are said to value the midfielder at €25 million, while Galatasaray have tabled a structured bid consisting of a €5m loan fee with a mandatory €15m purchase option at the end of next season.
Negotiations are ongoing between the clubs, with an agreement expected to be finalized in the coming days.
Onyedika Ready for New Challenge

Onyedika has been a key figure for Brugge, helping them secure Champions League football after a dominant aggregate victory over Rangers. Known for his versatility in midfield, the Nigerian has expressed his readiness to embrace a new challenge in Turkey.
- “I want to wear the Galatasaray shirt,” Onyedika was quoted as saying, showing his intent to push the transfer through.
If completed, Onyedika will become Galatasaray’s latest signing after the recent signing of Wilfred Singo from Monaco, strengthening Okan Buruk’s squad ahead of another title defense and European campaign.
