Erling Haaland addressed the speculation surrounding his apparent frustration at being substituted off by Pep Guardiola, despite scoring four goals in Manchester City’s 5-1 victory over Wolves.

While many interpreted his emotions as a display of his elite mentality, the Norwegian striker set the record straight during an appearance on the Men in Blazers podcast.
However, Manchester United legend Roy Keane had a different opinion about the situation. Sports Buddy reported that Keane blasted Haaland, labelling him a ‘spoilt brat’ for such behaviour.
Haaland clarifies sideline anger
Haaland has now opened up about the situation, clarifying that his anger on the sidelines had nothing to do with being replaced by Julian Alvarez, who scored shortly after coming on as his substitute.
“I was mad because [of] something completely different, it was nothing about that,” the Norway international admitted.
“I was super happy that Julian [Alvarez] came on and scored as well, of course I would love to score more goals but I wasn’t mad or anything about getting subbed off, I’m happy for the guy that got substituted on for me and that’s how it is,” the Norwegean striker said, as per The Mirror
