According to reports, a Super Eagles player is set to face disciplinary action from his club for unprofessional conduct.
Portuguese side Chaves has initiated disciplinary actions against Nigerian midfielder Kelechi Nwakali for reportedly using his phone while on the substitute bench during their pivotal 1-0 home loss to Famalicao. This defeat resulted in Chaves’ relegation from the Primeira Liga. The 25-year-old Nwakali’s behavior during the match has not been well received by the club’s leadership.

Disappointing performance and distracted behavior
The former Arsenal youth product had started the crunch clash but endured a poor outing, being hauled off at half-time after completing just 65% of his passes.
Nwakali then compounded his disappointing performance by appearing distracted and disinterested when taking his place among the substitutes for the second period.
