Manchester City to Finish Lower

Michael Owen’s most audacious call is that the English Premier League champions Manchester City will not only relinquish their title but do so to finish fourth.

A prediction in absolute contrary to what the Premier league Supercomputer predicted as reported by Sportsbudy.

This prediction have left fans on Social media show outrageous reactions with an X user saying “You can just see that this prediction is out of hate for man city, because no pundits in his right mind will predict this”
Another reacted saying “I hope he heals from whatever he’s smoking”

This would be the worst finish for Pep Guardiola in his managerial career worse than the third place of Manchester City during the 2016/2017 season.

Michael Owen also opines that should City falter in the early phase, its attention may shift from the league which would create room for other competitors.

In an unexpected turn, Owen has predicted Aston Villa to finish third leaving City behind, with Unai Emery as their manager.

“I’m going to go for Arsenal first, Liverpool second, Aston Villa third and Manchester City fourth.” the former Ballon’d’Or winner added.

He also believes that new season new Liverpool manager Arne Slot’s side will finish second in what would be a debut season of the Dutchman at Anfield.

That is why, according to Owen, there will be a significant upset in the Premier League and Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham may fail to secure the top four spots.

Also, he said that the three new teams, namely Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton will all be relegated to the championship division next season.
