Brighton and Hove Albion’s manager, Fabian Hurzeler, has come out with a word of caution to his players ahead of the Premier League game to be played against Manchester United at the Amex Stadium.
Even though Brighton started the season brightly by thrashing Everton 3-0, Hurzeler is not taking any chances against Erik ten Hag’s team.
Hurzeler who watched his team perform so well in the first match of the season knows that succeeding against Manchester United is never easy.

Even though United had slightly triumphed in their first match with a score of 1-0 against Fulham, the Brighton manger has found many players that can bring a change.
He has singled out Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Amad Diallo, Alejandro Garnacho and Mason Mount as the players that his team should be careful of when playing against them.
“And so the strengths from this team is they have like an individual quality on the pitch where you never can lose your attention on the game,” Hurzeler disclosed to the media. “Because they can affect a game in one situation, even though they are not really involved in the game.
Focus on Defensive Discipline
Hurzeler emphasized the importance of maintaining focus for the entire 90 minutes, particularly during Manchester United’s transition phases.

He stated that United have the ability to capitalize on a single moment of brilliance. “They have the quality of Fernandes with Rashford, Diallo, Garnacho, Mount – if there’s one situation, they can kill the game,” he added.
Speaking to BeanymanSports, Hurzeler pointed out that Brighton needs to be rigid with positioning and must approach each other in close proximity when in possession of the ball as this is an area United can exploit them of.
The Brighton manager also pointed out that aggressive play is not enough and it is necessary to watch United throughout the match because they can counterattack.
“We have to pay attention, like, really… 90 minutes, we have to be focused all the time on the game, especially on transition moments,” he added.
