F*ck the law is the right expression to Arsenal’s response to the PGMOL justifying Michael Oliver sending off Leandro Trossard against Manchester City.
Arsenal demands answers of the Professional Game Match Officials Board PGMOL after Michael Oliver costed them in the game against Manchester City, whereas he had some words to cover his flaws while he favoured The Cityzens in their previous meeting.
The 39-year-old showed Leandro Trossard a second yellow card for kicking the ball away in the final minutes of added time in the heated first 45 minutes at the Ethiad on Sunday while Arsenal was leading 2-1.
Manchester City would score a late late equalizer to even the tie as it finished 2-2. But Arsenal have not been impressed by the match official as well as the explanation of PGMOL, who confirmed the decision is plainly textbook.
F*ck the law – Arsenal demands answers off PGMOL

Having explained the decision is right, fans have responded to the PGMOL, taking them back to October last year, when Mateo Kovacic was shown just a yellow card for a dangerous tackle on Martin Ødegaard.
The Croatian then went on to commit another bookable offence on Declan Rice but was allowed to play on by Michael Oliver. “He [Michael Oliver] doesn’t want to have a negative impact on the game by overreacting.” was he response of PGMOL Chief Howard Webb, who admitted to the error made by Oliver.
Fans are engrieved as it appears the letter of law is only applicable to Arsenal as several players have been victims of the same incidence of kicking the ball away while on a yellow and have not been sent off between the Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard incidences.

“A friendly reminder that Michael Oliver didn’t give Kovacic a second yellow card for this challenge on Odegaard in this same fixture last year. Absolute CORRUPTION.”

Mikel Arteta will still need to have wordw with his players, not to give them the decision to make in the near future.
