Arsenal were again pegged back in one of the biggest Premier League fixtures this season as Mohamed Salah rescued a point for Liverpool late on in the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.
The Gunners have drawn a third league game this season as a result of fine margins going against then like on Sunday, and Manchester City and at home to Brighton.
Following Sunday’s heartbreak, Mikel Arteta‘s side fall five points behind league leaders and albeit its still still very early into the season, the results may end up costing them come May, as they did last season, when they drop just four points in 18 league games yet still came short on final day.

1. Indiscipline: In the four games where the Gunners have dropped points this season, three have come when they had to play with 10-men after a red card.
They have received three red cards this season, and those have directly costed them seven points.

2. Injuries: A premature season has already seen injuries to several first team players. In fact, every member of their official starting XI has missed a game or more this season, be it for injury reasons or suspensions — after Gabriel Magalhaes’ withdrawal against Liverpool and Kai Havertz sitting out the international break.
3. Shortage of firepowers: In the absence of Bukayo Saka in the two games before facing Liverpool, the attack look dead with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus failing to justify their selection.
With no plenty options on the bench for dynamism in attack, Arsenal will continue to be one injury, in that department, away from disaster.
