Paris Saint-Germain are cruising in Ligue 1 but struggling in the Champions League, where early elimination looms.
With January approaching, PSG is reviving its pursuit of Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli.
Luis Enrique’s side has managed just 4 points from five matches in their European campaign, scoring only three goals.
With group-stage fixtures against Salzburg, Manchester City, and Stuttgart remaining, PSG’s attacking issues have raised alarm bells.

Central Attacking Struggles Persist

While Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé have excelled on the wings, the central attack has faltered.
Randal Kolo Muani’s performances have been underwhelming, and Gonçalo Ramos has only recently returned from injury.
These struggles have prompted PSG to prioritize an attacking reinforcement, with Osimhen emerging as a key target.
According to Daniel Riolo of RMC Sport, PSG’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi remains open to transfers.
“If an opportunity presents itself, we will evaluate it,” Al-Khelaifi said.
Riolo also revealed that Luis Enrique now sees Osimhen as a priority, having “realized his mistake” in not securing the Nigerian last summer.
Release Clause Fuels January Hopes

Last summer, PSG pursued Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia but balked at Napoli’s €220 million valuation for both players.
Osimhen eventually renewed with Napoli before being loaned to Galatasaray, where he’s flourished with 9 goals in 12 games, forming a lethal partnership with Dries Mertens.
Despite Okan Buruk’s insistence on keeping Osimhen until season’s end, a €75 million release clause for non-Italian clubs could make a January move feasible.
With Manchester United also interested, PSG sees Osimhen as vital for their European resurgence.
