Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi will have to wait for his Beşiktaş debut, as he remained on the bench in their UEFA Conference League Play-Off clash against St. Patrick’s Athletic.

The Turkish giants secured a 3-2 win at Tüpraş Stadyumu in Istanbul, completing a 7-3 aggregate triumph after a dominant 4-1 victory in the first leg.

St. Patrick’s Early Shock, Beşiktaş Fight Back

The visitors stunned the home crowd with two quick goals, threatening an unlikely comeback. Beşiktaş responded just before halftime when Demir Tiknaz pulled one back in the 43rd minute.

Ndidi Eyes Debut in Upcoming League Match

Wilfred Ndidi joined Beşiktaş from Leicester City during the summer transfer window and was recently unveiled to the club’s passionate fans.

The Nigerian midfielder had been training ahead of the fixture but was left out of the starting lineup as part of Solskjaer’s rotation strategy.

He is expected to make his debut in the Turkish Süper Lig when Beşiktaş take on Eyüpspor this weekend.
