The Super Eagles striker, who recently sealed a league-record move to Galatasaray, has quickly risen to celebrity status in Turkey, with his unveiling attracting record-breaking online traffic in Istanbul.
Meeting with Gökbakar – Turkey’s “Mr Ibu”
Osimhen recently crossed paths with Şahan Gökbakar, the comedian behind the wildly popular “Recep İvedik” movie series. Gökbakar’s comedic style has been likened to the late Nigerian actor John Okafor, popularly known as “Mr Ibu,” who made a career out of portraying hilarious, bumbling characters.
