Manchester City are weighing up a move for Lionesses midfielder “Grace Clinton”, who is yet to agree a contract extension with Manchester United, as report by The Times. The 22-year-old’s current deal runs out next summer, leaving her future at Old Trafford uncertain.
Rising Star on the Big Stage
Clinton joined United in 2022 but spent much of her early career out on loan with Bristol City and Tottenham Hotspur. She made her long-awaited debut for United in the 2024 Women’s Super League (WSL) season, where she impressed with eight league goals in her breakthrough campaign.
Her stellar form earned her a place in England’s squad for the European Championship, where she made five appearances, including all three knockout matches. She has now collected 16 international caps and scored three goals for the Lionesses.
