Cole Palmer’s absence in training
Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, who has been a standout performer under Mauricio Pochettino this season, is currently absent from training ahead of the crucial Premier League clash against Arsenal.
The 21-year-old, who joined from Manchester City in the summer, has been in scintillating form, notching up an impressive 23 goals and 13 assists for the Blues.
Recent form and concerns
Palmer’s recent exploits include a remarkable run of 10 goals in his last five Premier League outings, culminating in a stunning four-goal display in Chelsea’s 6-0 thrashing of Everton.

However, concerns arose after he appeared to be nursing a thigh issue during the FA Cup semi-final against Man City, although he completed the full 90 minutes.
Sports Buddy recently reported that Palmer has overtaken, Watkins, Salah, as he joins Haaland after his unbelievable performance against Everton.
Assessing Palmer’s condition
Despite missing training sessions on Sunday and Monday, with reports suggesting he’s sidelined due to illness, Pochettino remains hopeful of Palmer’s availability and has indicated that the situation will be reassessed closer to the match.

“Today, no [he cannot play],” he said.
“We will see tomorrow morning. Today, I don’t believe he can be involved. Even if he is good tomorrow, maybe he is not in a condition to play. We hope he can recover from this situation and be involved with the team, he added, as per Football London.
In addition to Palmer, Chelsea’s injury worries extend to defenders Ben Chilwell and Malo Gusto, who are also undergoing assessments following their participation in the FA Cup fixture.
