Kylian Mbappe’s first-half performance goes viral
On Friday night, Mbappe and co. took on Monaco at the Stade Louis II looking to continue their charge for the Ligue 1 title.
Despite dominating ball possession and having more shots on target, PSG failed to find the back of the net and were held to a 0-0 draw by Adi Hutter’s men.
Footage of Kylian Mbappe’s first-half per AS Monaco vs Paris Saint Germain has gone viral after the French superstar was taken off at half-time.

On the back of his substitution, Mbappe reportedly did not return to the bench and instead watched the remainder of the match in the stands with his mother.
Mbappe was seen wearing a tracksuit and talking on his phone inside the tunnel before heading up to join his family.
As a result, PSG extended their lead over second-placed Brest at the top of Ligue 1 to 12 points.
Kylian Mbappe mooted departure
The 25-year-old is set to depart the Paris club in the summer and is widely expected to join Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid, who have been chasing Mbappe’s signature for the last few seasons.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the post-match interview was dominated by questions relating to Mbappe.
Explaining his decision, PSG boss Enrique said: “It’s 100% a coach’s decision. Sooner or later, we will have to get used to playing without Kylian. It’s a decision that I made with the aim of doing the best for the team.
“I’m not going to get into this game. I’m a professional, I don’t have a problem. It’s just a question of handling a situation that is best for the team.”
Mbappe performance doing the rounds online
Now, a video of Mbappe’s first-half performance against Monaco has gone viral.
The 25-year-old struggled to make a real impact during the first 45 minutes and gave away the ball on multiple occasions.
As reported by journalist Robin Bairner, Mbappe was given a low score of just three out of 10 by French news outlet L’Equipe.
However, having been PSG’s main man for the last few seasons, Mbappe is allowed an off night.
Speaking about the decision, PSG manager Enrique explained: “It’s 100% a coach’s decision. Sooner or later, we will have to get used to playing without Kylian. It’s a decision that I made with the aim of doing the best for the team.
“I’m not going to get into this game. I’m a professional, I don’t have a problem. It’s just a question of handling a situation that is best for the team.”
The Spaniard added: “Three questions, all on the same subject, it’s a hat-trick. Are we going to go for four?”
PSG are back in action next week when they take on Real Sociedad in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
