You back a team to win, they dominate the game… and it ends 0–0. Your money is gone on a match your team never lost. Draw No Bet (often shortened to DNB) exists to remove exactly that pain: if the match ends in a draw, your stake comes back to you.

What Does Draw No Bet Mean?

Draw No Bet is a two-way betting market. Instead of the usual three options (home win, draw, away win), you only pick one of the two teams to win. The draw is taken out of the equation:

Because the bookmaker is removing the draw risk for you, Draw No Bet odds are always lower than the same team’s odds in the normal 1X2 market. You are trading a smaller payout for protection.

Draw No Bet: Worked Example

Say Arsenal are at home to Chelsea. In the normal market Arsenal are 2.20 to win. In the Draw No Bet market, Arsenal are 1.65. You stake ₦5,000 on Arsenal Draw No Bet:

Result What happens to your ₦5,000
Arsenal win 2–1 Bet wins — you receive ₦8,250 (₦3,250 profit)
Match drawn 1–1 Stake refunded — your ₦5,000 comes back
Chelsea win 0–1 Bet loses — stake lost

Draw No Bet vs Double Chance: What Is the Difference?

New punters mix these two up, but they pay out very differently:

Draw No Bet (e.g. Arsenal DNB) Double Chance (e.g. Arsenal or Draw, 1X)
Team wins You win You win
Draw Stake refunded (no profit) You win (paid out)
Team loses You lose You lose
Typical odds Higher of the two Lower of the two

Simple rule: Double Chance pays you on a draw but at shorter odds. Draw No Bet only refunds you on a draw, so the odds are better.

When Should You Use Draw No Bet?

How to Find Draw No Bet on SportyBet and Bet9ja
