Mikel Arteta, now a prominent figure in football management, recently revealed his fantasy five-a-side team, drawing from his playing career across renowned clubs like Barcelona, PSG, Rangers, Everton, and Arsenal.

In his selection, one name sparked debate among fans.

“Ronaldinho has to be there,” Arteta asserted, praising the Brazilian’s unmatched skill set during their time together. “I never saw anything like it… he was in his prime, doing things with the ball at that pace.”, according to Just Arsenal.

However, it was his choice of Robin van Persie from their Arsenal days that caught attention, especially among Gunners faithful.

Despite lingering discord regarding Van Persie’s move to Manchester United, Arteta defended his inclusion, citing the striker’s peak performance during their time together. “I would put Robin van Persie there because he was in his best prime when we were teammates,” Arteta affirmed.

While some may question Arteta’s allegiance to Van Persie, the focus remains on the player’s outstanding contributions during their shared tenure at Arsenal.
