Luka Modric’s Former Club Makes Bold Move to Lure Him Back
Luka Modric, the 38-year-old Croatian star who has been a mainstay for Real Madrid since 2012, could be on his way out of the Spanish giants.

With speculation swirling about his future, his former club Dinamo Zagreb has made a grand gesture to entice him back.
Dinamo Zagreb Takes Out Full-Page Ad in Spanish Newspaper
Dinamo Zagreb, where the former Totteham star won three league titles before his move to Tottenham Hotspur in 2008, went all out to showcase their desire for his return.
In a bold move, they purchased a full-page advertisement in the April 6 edition of Marca, a prominent Spanish sports newspaper according to TheSun.
The ad featured a Dinamo Zagreb shirt emblazoned with “Modric 10” and a clear message: “Join Us! It Makes Sense, All the Possible Sense in the World.”
The ad was signed by club president Velimir Zajec, leaving no room for doubt about their intentions.
Dinamo Zagreb further amplified their message on social media, posting an image of someone opening a copy of Marca to reveal the full-page Modric ad.
Modric’s Time at Real Madrid Coming to an End?
This public pursuit by Dinamo Zagreb comes amidst reports suggesting Croatian might not be part of Real Madrid’s plans for next season.
With French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni’s growing influence, Modric’s playing time has decreased significantly.
The 38-year-old has made 522 appearances for Real Madrid, contributing immensely to their success.
He has been a key figure in their five Champions League triumphs, three La Liga titles, and two Spanish Cups.
Whether the former Ballon d’Or winner will be swayed by his former club’s emotional plea or seek a new challenge elsewhere remains to be seen.
