Tierney’s uncertain future at Arsenal

After joining Arsenal from Celtic in 2019, the left-back lost his place in the side with the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko in 2022.

Additionally, he faced challenges with injuries during his tenure in north London. When asked if he could play for Arsenal again, Tierney responded to talkSPORT.

”It’s a bit strange that you can come back the way [William] Saliba did. It is strange to be on loan for four years and then return to play.

”Football is crazy, so we’ll see. I’m not talking to Arteta, he’s busy there.”, he said.

Tierney is currently enjoying his time at Real Sociedad, where he has already made 21 appearances.

”Honestly, this is an incredible experience, I enjoy it. It’s a shame that there is so little time left, there are a good six or seven weeks left of the season,” he added.

Meanwhile, Sports Buddy reported in previous news that Eric Dier, a former Tottenham defender now playing for Bayern Munich, believes the electric atmosphere at the Allianz Arena will be a huge advantage against Arsenal in the Champions League second leg.
