Arsenal Vows to Unmask Racist Abusing Star Player Bukayo Saka
Arsenal Football Club has launched a relentless pursuit of a racist social media user who targeted their young forward Bukayo Saka with a vile online attack.
Arsenal Demands Post Removal and User Identification
Following the incident, Arsenal promptly contacted Twitter demanding the removal of the offensive post.
They have also enlisted the help of Signify, a data science company that utilizes artificial intelligence to identify abusive social media users.
This partnership proved effective last year when it resulted in the banning of 18 Arsenal members for online misconduct.
Police Launch Investigation
London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed they are investigating the racist post. Although no arrests have been made yet, the investigation is ongoing.
Saka Targeted After Appealing for Penalty
The 22-year-old Saka was subjected to the racist slur after The Gunners’s recent Premier League defeat to Aston Villa.
Some fans believe Saka’s actions during the earlier Champions League match against Bayern Munich warranted the online abuse.
In that game, Saka appealed for a penalty after going down in the box, leading some to believe he was trying to deceive the referee.

Social Media Platform Under Scrutiny
The social media platform where the racist post was made has come under fire for refusing to remove it, claiming it doesn’t violate their safety policies.
The Sun on Sunday reported on this controversial decision.
Arsenal Pledges Strong Action
An Arsenal source emphasized that player well-being is their top priority.
The club is fully committed to supporting Saka and has vowed to take decisive action to eradicate such abhorrent behavior.

This incident is not an isolated one, as Saka, along with his England teammates Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, were previously racially abused online following their penalty misses in the Euro 2020 final.
In response to these incidents, The Gunners began working with Signify to combat online racism.
The Sun has reached out to the social media platform for comment, but no response has been received at this time.
