Following his four-year doping ban earlier this year, World Cup winner Paul Pogba has transitioned to the entertainment industry.
Paul Pogba’s new acting role
Pogba is set to make his acting debut in a French film scheduled for release in April 2025. Sources have confirmed that Pogba filmed scenes for the movie in Paris earlier this week. The film, titled “4 Zéros,” serves as a sequel to the successful “3 Zéros,” which premiered in 2002.
In this movie, the 31-year-old will play the role of a youth football team coach, as reported by the French publication Le Parisien, which initially disclosed Pogba’s involvement in the film.
Pogba’s 4-year doping ban
Pogba is currently serving a four-year suspension due to a doping violation handed down in February. The former France international maintains his innocence, asserting that he never intentionally used banned substances, and intends to appeal the decision.
Sports Buddy previously reported that the French midfielder, in a message on his social media account, vowed to prove his innocence, stating, ”when he is free from all allegations, the full story will become clear”
Pogba’s appeal will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), with the possibility of a reduction in his ban if successful.
