Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has rocked the the internet with his recent video where he called out Nigeria natinal team head coach Finidi George.
Sports Buddy recently reported that Finidi George resigned from his his position as the Super Eagles head coach, after a three-hours meeting which took place a few days ago.
The three hours meeting ended in a decision to appoint a foreign technical adviser to oversee the Super Eagles’ remaining World Cup qualifying games, which might seem like a demotion to the former Enymba boss.
Following news of Finidi’s resignation, Osimhen took to social media to vent his frustrations, following allegations that he neglected the team when they needed him the most, leading to the Super Eagles’ recent struggles.
While reports claim that Osimhen was injured, which sidelined him for Nigeria’s recent World Cup qualifier games, some believe the 25-year old’s absence is beyond just injury problems.
The Napoli striker has not been available for the Super Eagles since his AFCON appearance in January, and this has sparked controversy surrounding the real reason behind his frequent unavailability.
Victor Osimhen calls out Finidi
Osimhen, in his recent video posted online, was seen expressing his frustrations at speculations surrounding his absence from the national team. The former Lille attacker was caught reigning curses on those peddling rumours about his situation in connection with Finidi George.
In the video, Osimhen was seen criticising the Super Eagles head coach, saying he has lost his respect for him.
