Chidera Ejuke has been signed by Sevilla on a free transfer; the La Liga team announced the agreement on June 17, 2024.
The announcement was made on the same day that the Spanish team disclosed Sergio Ramos will leave the team on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023, leaving after one year.

After a year on loan at Hertha Berlin in 2022–2023 following FIFA restrictions suspending his contract at CSKA Moscow, Ejuke is back in one of Europe’s top five leagues with his transfer to Spain.
The 26-year-old joined Royal Antwerp on another loan agreement for the 2023–24 season after the Bundesliga team decided not to make the transfer permanent.
In 39 appearances across all competitions, Ejuke scored five goals and provided six assists for the Belgian team.
Ejuke for the Super Eagles
The 26-year-old earned his Nigerian debut in a friendly match against Tunisia in October 2020. He went on to make seven more appearances for the three-time African champions, for a total of eight games.
Since January 19, 2022, during the Africa Cup of Nations group stage match against Guinea-Bissau, Ejuke has not competed for the Super Eagles.
