Four minutes later, Chukwueze and Colombo both worked together again. Chukwueze, the right wing, left his markers behind and set up another perfect cross for Colombo to put Milan through with the second goal.
Milan’s Late Winner
John McAtee equalised for City ten minutes into the second half, however, Marco Nasti who came from the bench scored the winning goal for Milan.
The Nigeria forward featured for 65 minutes, creating two assists, with 80% accuracy in his passes and 100% accuracy in his crosses, and took one shot that went awry.
This is a first victory of AC Milan in their preparations for the new season after a 1-1 draw with Rapid Vienna the previous weekend.
In the next ten days, Fonseca’s team will play against some of the Spanish giants, including Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The Super Eagles winger wants to maintain his good performance so as to become an indispensable player in the first team.
Speaking on the upcoming season, Chukwueze remarked: “Hopefully, when that Inter Milan game comes, we have a packed stadium and we can entertain the fans. ”
