Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has set another incredible record, becoming the first player to score in 23 consecutive seasons, per Times Now.
Ronaldo opened his account for the 2024–2025 campaign in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final on Wednesday, as Al Nassr recorded a 2-0 victory over Al Taawoun.
The 39-year-old doubled the team’s lead after Ayman Ahmed opened the scoring in the eighth minute.
Ronaldo slotted the ball into the net in the 57th minute after a sublime cut-back assist from Sultan Al Ghanam.
With the goal, Ronaldo made football history by being the first player to score a goal in 23 straight seasons.
The Portugal legend, who scored his first ever senior career goal on October 7, 2002, for his boyhood club Sporting CP against Moreirense, has now gone 23 whole seasons without failing to hit the back of the net.
