Spain captain Alvaro Morata has recently opened up on what led to his divorce with his wife and mother of his four kids, Alice Campello.
Morata disclosed that his summer move from Atlético Madrid to AC Milan, Samuel Chukwueze’s club , was a major factor in the end of his marriage.

Morata and Campello have four children together. They first met when the Spanish national team captain was playing for Juventus in Italy, and they got married in 2017.
Just days after leading Spain to victory at Euro 2024, Morata made a surprising €13 million move to AC Milan in Italy. This unexpected decision reportedly distabilised his marriage to his Italian wife, Campello.

The Spanish striker explained that he and Campello had both agreed to part ways due to the stress of relocating again.
“I am very clear, the relationship is over,” Morata said, speaking to TVE reporters
He continued, ”We have a great relationship for the well-being of our four children, although there is no turning back.
”We were both clear that we preferred to end the relationship and start from there. Alice wanted to stay in Spain and didn’t want another move.”
Alvaro Morata has adapted to life in Milan despite his ex-wife’s misgivings about the transfer.
He scored in the Rossoneri’s opening Serie A match of the 204/25 season, a 2-2 draw with Torino.
