New signing Emile Smith-Rowe, who recently secured his move from Arsenal, opened the scoring for Marco Silva’s men in the 18th minute.
However, Wout Faes restored parity in the 38th minute, leaving both teams heading into the break on level terms.
In the 70th minute, Iwobi rose to the occasion to score the winner after receiving a through ball from Antonee Robinson, handing Fulham maximum points.
