GUNNERS DISASTER! Martin Odegaard suffer fresh injury ahead of North-London derby

Norway head coach Stale Solbakken has indicated that Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has sustained a new injury during his time on national duty.
Odegaard was replaced in the 73rd minute during Arsenal’s English Premier League match against Brighton last week due to an ankle injury.

Although he had been in the Norwegian travelling squad preparing for a league match against Kazakhstan, concerns have emerged regarding his fitness.

Although there has been a glimpse of Odegaard training with Norway, Solbakken wants to note that the above-said knock is not the same as the one with Brighton.
According to Metro Sports, Solbakken, however, insisted saying, “I think it’s another bang,” indicating that the facet of the injury could be more severe.
Concerns for Arsenal Ahead of the North London Derby

Odegaard’s fitness will be a worry for Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta, especially given that the north London derby against Tottenham is slated for the weekend.

The Gunners believe that Norway will manage Odegaard smartly in the hope that he does not further worsen the injury.
Despite this, Solbakken expressed joy in Odegaard’s progression and attributed it to Arsenal’s stability.
‘He’s now got a “permanent club”, you can say, with a contract instead of being a “foreign player”, and it has been very good for his development,’ Solbakken continued.
Arsenal will take on their North-London rival on the 15th of September and will be hoping their captain will be available to feature.
