Heavyweight division has seen some massive change in the recent past, from the fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury to Oleksandr Usyk flooring Fury, among others.
Now, IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) has continued the upset by laying out Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) in front of 96,000 patrons at Wembley Stadium, as reported earlier by Sportsbuddy.
Another prominent heavyweight contender that was keenly observing the fight was 41-year-old Zhilei “Big Bang” Zhang with 27-2-1 and 22 KOs, who has confidently expected that Daniel Dubois would knock out Joshua before the fight.
Zhang’s bold prediction comes true
Zhang, who is also famous for his powerful performance and entertaining personality, predicted the result of the fight during one of his vlogs the day prior to the fight.
Despite being a longshot prediction in the eyes of oddsmakers, Zhang’s confidence in Dubois was rooted in his understanding of the sport.
Zhang Eager for a Shot at Daniel Dubois
Eager to face the International Boxing Federation champion after witnessing Dubois’ devastation of Joshua, Zhang volunteered to take on the US fighter.
“Hell yeah!” he said when the people interviewing him asked him whether he was interested in fighting the next tournament champion.

According to Yardbarker, Zhang revealed saying, “AJ hasn’t been fighting opponents at this level lately. Nuh, on the other hand, has fought less competitive opponents such as Jarre Miller and Filip Hrgovic that compensated DuBuiss.
Zhang also agrees that the losses faced by Daniel Dubois in his recent fights have put in good stead for big fights, and it’s for this reason that he holds him in high regard as a true leader of the heavyweight division.
