Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva was highly critical of Arsenal’s playing style following their dramatic 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Speaking to TNT Sports Brazil as per Manchester Evening News, Silva revealed his dissatisfaction with Arsenal’s defensive strategies, especially in the second half when they defended a 2-1 lead.

“There wasn’t a moment when all teams played football simultaneously,” Silva stated. “The other came to challenge what was thought to be possible, with permission from the referee, though it was unfortunate.”
In addition, he raised the physical nature of the sport, noting an early injury to a Manchester City player and pointing out what he perceived to be poor officiating regarding time-wasting.
In a previous report from Sportsbuddy, Silva urged Portuguese star to snub a move to Manchester United.

Bernardo Silva’s Frustration from Refereeing and Comparison with Liverpool

Silva had no qualms about expressing his dissatisfaction with the officiating, arguing that Arsenal’s second goal involved obstruction against City’s goalkeeper, which the referee accepted.
He further condemned the deficiency in enforcement of rules related to wasting time, even though he had met with the FA to tackle similar challenges.
Comparing Arsenal to the previous title rivalry held by Liverpool and City, Silva expressed, “It could be that Liverpool have already won a Premier League, while Arsenal have not.
Liverpool have won a Champions League, while Arsenal haven’t.” According to him, Liverpool played City directly, in contrast to Arsenal’s more defensive style.
