As revealed earlier by Sportsbuddy, when speaking to TNT Sports Brazil, Silva had been quite harsh on Arsenal for choosing to sit back and defend at halftime as well as in the second half when they were leading 2-1 and playing against ten men.

Now, Silva has turned his displeasure on Michael Oliver’s refereeing, stating that several of his decisions went against Manchester City.

Controversial Moments Highlighted by Silva

“We had a player injured after they sent him to the ground twice in 10 minutes,” Silva complained, speaking to DiscoMirror.

He also pointed out two other controversial moments: ‘For the first goal, the referee called our captain but did not allow him to come back to the place where he was initially located’ and ‘For the second goal, the normal off-side block to our keeper was allowed by the referee.’

Well, Arsenal will now shift their attention to their next EFL Cup fixture against Bolton Wanderers, but the comments of Silva have definitely put further fuel on the fire in the controversy over the certain calls made in their Premier League match.
