Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen’s loan deal at Galatasaray is expected to run till the end of the season, but there is an option that may trigger his return.
Transfer specialist Ciro Venerato dropped the hint via Tutto Napoli suggesting that Osimhen may exit the club in January, provided that his potential employer is not Italian-based and is willing to part with a €90 million release clause.

Victor Osimhen was strongly linked away to several clubs during the last window, which saw a move to Chelsea breakdown on deadline day.
With exceptional performances in his first four games with the Turkish side and non-Italian clubs priced out of a move, Chelsea could return for their man in a blockbuster €90 million transfer in the January window.
Italian Clubs Blocked from Triggering the Deal
In the event this release clause is invoked, Galatasaray would be paid severance pay; however, Italian clubs are excluded from triggering the transfer.
Should no move materialise in January, Victor Osimhen will be available for a slightly cheaper price in June without severance.
Napoli still maintains an option to renew the striker’s contract until 2027 with the club.

Victor Osimhen’s Immediate Impact at Galatasaray

On the pitch, Osimhen has made a quick impression.
Recently, in a thrilling match that ended in a 3-3 stalemate against Kasimpasa, the Nigerian forward scored a brace, as revealed earlier by Sportsbuddy.
He became the first Galatasaray player since Bafetimbi Gomis in 2017 to contribute four or more goals in his first three league appearances.
