Chelsea summer signing Jadon Sancho has come under scrutiny after an uninspiring performance in the 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.
While the 24-year-old winger has shown moments of his potential since arriving from Manchester United, former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino believes Jadon Sancho is “far too easy to play against” and may be dropped if he doesn’t elevate his game.

Conservative Play Raises Concerns
Sancho, who made the move to Chelsea on loan after three difficult seasons at Old Trafford, has started the Blues’ last three league games.
Speaking to The Times, Cascarino highlighted that Sancho’s cautious approach is problematic for a club with high expectations.
“There were no big mistakes, everything was neat and tidy, he played short passes that were accurate.”
‘But he’s playing for Chelsea: this is a club that has high expectations of players, especially attacking ones. Being OK, which is what he was, is a problem.
In his analysis, he pointed out that the winger lacked aggression and was too conservative against Forest’s right-back, Ola Aina.

Madueke’s Directness Shows a Stark Contrast

While Sancho played a neat but reserved game, his teammate Noni Madueke shone on the opposite wing, constantly challenging defenders and pushing forward with more direct intent.
Cascarino noted the stark difference between the two, praising Madueke’s energy and willingness to take on defenders.
If Sancho doesn’t adapt and show more dynamism, his place in the Chelsea squad may be at risk.
