KYLIAN MBAPPE: Real Madrid forward in trouble as rape allegations surface in Sweden

Local media reports say Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé is accused of rape and sexual harassment at a Swedish hotel.

Mbappé initially dismissed the claims as ‘fake news’ after reports of an alleged incident involving him and his friends while he was staying last week.

But, according to Swedish newspaper Expressen, Mbappé is now being investigated by police in connection with the allegations.

Swedish Hotel investigation

According to the alleged incident, it happened on Thursday night at a central Stockholm hotel.

The investigation began after a woman went to a nearby hospital for medical care, according to Aftonbladet, another Swedish news outlet.

Forensic investigators were reportedly at the hotel Monday to assess the crime scene. The police have neither confirmed nor denied Mbappé’s involvement, and no official suspects have been named despite the seriousness of the claims.

Kylian Mbappé is involved in a separate legal dispute with PSG.

Mbappé, who is still recovering from an injury affecting the femoral biceps of his left leg, is also battling a separate legal battle with his former club PSG over £46 million in unpaid wages and bonuses.

Tomorrow’s hearing concerns a sum PSG refuses to pay, despite a ruling from the French football governing body, LFP. Mbappé, who joined Real Madrid in June, is said to have contacted UEFA over the salary row.

Mbappe’s last public appearance in Sweden was in Stockholm’s V nightclub, the same night his France national team beat Israel 4-1.
