Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly demanded a transfer to Chelsea and is prepared to take extreme measures to make it happen.

The 21-year-old Argentine is said to have told the club he would be willing to sit out for six to twelve months if his request is ignored.
Garnacho is among five players placed in Manchester United’s so-called “bomb squad”, a group told to find new clubs this summer.
His frustration reportedly peaked after being benched during United’s Europa League final loss to Tottenham in May, prompting manager Ruben Amorim to encourage him to seek a move.
Valuation Drop Fuels Transfer Talks

United initially valued Garnacho at £70 million, but that figure has reportedly been lowered to £50 million, sparking serious interest from Chelsea.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, talks between the two clubs are ongoing, with Garnacho making it clear that Stamford Bridge is his preferred destination.
The winger has made 144 appearances for United, scoring 26 goals and providing 22 assists. However, the relationship between player and club appears to have soured beyond repair.
Chelsea’s Attacking Reinforcements
If the move goes through, Garnacho is expected to compete for a starting role on Chelsea’s left wing alongside new signing Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund.
The Argentine is eager for regular top-level football to cement his place in the national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Chelsea kick off their Premier League campaign against Community Shield winners Crystal Palace, while Manchester United face Arsenal at Old Trafford without one of their most talented but unsettled stars.
