Arsenal have agreed a deal with Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze in a deal valued at more than £60 million.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that all parties have reached a verbal agreement and the transfer is close to completion.
Tottenham Hotspur had been in talks with Palace earlier this week and believed they had an agreement with the player.
However, Eze has made it clear he prefers a move to Arsenal. Spurs have now turned their attention to other transfer targets.
Inside the Deal

The agreement will see Palace receive a package of over £60 million.
Reports suggest that Eze’s release clause, previously set at £60 million plus £8 million in add-ons, expired before the start of the Premier League season.
Despite this, Arsenal pushed hard to finalise terms after reigniting their interest midweek.
The 27-year-old still has two years left on his contract at Selhurst Park.
Palace boss Oliver Glasner confirmed that Eze and defender Marc Guehi are still committed to the team and will start in their upcoming Conference League play-off despite transfer speculation.
What This Means for Arsenal
Eze’s arrival would be one of Arsenal’s biggest moves of the summer as Mikel Arteta strengthens his squad for a title challenge.
This move will also see the Gunners end their pursuit for Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman who was recently banished from Atalanta’s first team after forcing a move out of the club.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, will look to reinvest funds from the deal as they aim to build under Glasner. Tottenham, having missed out on Eze, may now focus on potential deals involving Richarlison or other forwards.
