Tottenham Hotspur have turned their attention to Manchester City winger Savinho after bitter rivals Arsenal hijacked their pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.
Arsenal Beat Spurs to Eze

Spurs looked set to land Eberechi Eze in a £65m deal, but Arsenal swooped in at the last minute following Kai Havertz’s knee injury. The Gunners reportedly matched Palace’s demands and swiftly agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old England international.
The move leaves Spurs empty-handed once again, after also missing out on Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White, who recently signed a contract extension.
Spurs Launch £69m Record Bid for Savinho

In response, Tottenham have tabled a club-record £69m bid for City’s 21-year-old Brazilian sensation, Savinho, according to Brazilian Outlet Globo. Manager Thomas Frank views him as the ideal creative spark following James Maddison’s season-ending ACL injury.
Spurs had an earlier £50m bid rejected, but growing uncertainty over Savinho’s playing time at City has reopened the door.
Pep Guardiola’s summer arrivals, Omar Marmoush, Tijjani Reijnders, and Rayan Cherki, have raised concerns about the youngster’s minutes on the pitch.
Race Heats Up
Savinho’s agent is currently in the UK negotiating with both Arsenal and Tottenham, fueling speculation of a fierce North London transfer battle. Reports suggest a deal could be finalized within the next week. If Savinho departs, City are expected to push for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo as a replacement.
Tottenham’s record-breaking move highlights their desperation to land a marquee signing, especially after losing out on key targets. With Arsenal already strengthening, Spurs face growing pressure to respond in the market to remain competitive.
