Shola Shoretire has expressed that it was not easy for him to cut his nine-year relationship with Manchester United.
PAOK announced the signing of the youngster on a four-year contract after completing his medicals.
Shoretire rejected a new contract with Manchester United, eventually signing with the Greek Super League champions.
Journey Through Manchester United
The attacking midfielder signed by Manchester United and was promoted through the youth system, making his first-team debut as a substitute in the Premier League match against Newcastle United.
However, he was unable to force himself into the first team and departed Old Trafford without starting and barely making five substitute appearances.
The young player was loaned to Bolton Wanderers in the second half of the season 2022/2023, where he participated in 16 games and scored his first professional goal.

In his parting message to Manchester United supporters, Shoretire expressed his pride and gratitude via an Instagram post .
“When I first signed for Manchester United, I was just an eleven-year-old boy with a dream of one day becoming a first-team regular for the club, and I am proud to admit that I have been able to fulfill that dream.”
“Moreover, I have been privileged to be able to represent the club in the English Premier League and in European competitions, and for me, It’s been a tough decision for me to leave somewhere that’s been all I’ve known for half of my life but i believe this is the right step for me.
Shoretire has been the youngest player for Manchester United in the European competition and the club’s youngest player in the UEFA Youth League.
