Conor Gallagher finally joins Atletico Madrid after a protracted and a very complicated transfer process.
The former Chelsea midefielder had numerous complications in his effort to remain in London for a long time but problems arising due to the contract with the Chelsea new management propelled him to leave the club.
However, due to terms which he did not consider appropriate in the club, he moved out of the club despite his initial efforts to stay.
Deal Almost Collapsed
Sportsbuddy previously reported that the transfer almost collapsed when it was seen that Samu Omorodion, who should have made the move to Chelsea in exchange, had his deal off.
This development threatened to scupper Gallagher’s move, and after he went to Madrid to complete his medicals, he had to come back to England again.
But they later settled for it as Atletico Madrid signed Gallagher and Joao Felix moved to Chelsea.
