Malo Gusto, Chelsea’s right back, was injured in the Crystal Palace match and had a thigh muscle strain, which means that he will miss the Premier League match against Bournemouth.
The injury was a blow to Gusto’s France Under-21 commitment, and Enzo Maresca has disclosed that he will not be fit to play in the next match at the Vitality Stadium.

Gusto’s Absence Adds Pressure
Gusto’s absence is a big blow for Chelsea, especially considering the continued unemployment of Reece James due to injury.
Maresca then said that James requires more time before he is in action again, and the Blues are lacking in the right back position.
Cole Palmer, who was in the English national team, has been called to come back to the Chelsea training base for the overload management.
Meanwhile, Sportsbuddy also revealed that Chelsea youth left winger Noni Madueke has also declared his confidence in Maresca’s tough tackling discipline for players of the youth team.

Palmer returned from international football to continue with his treatment for the constant knee injuries and may likely be fit for the weekend’s match.
On a more positive note, Romeo Lavia is said to be “very close” to being back from the injury and may give Maresca more options in the midfield shortly.
